The girls had a new years sleepover last night. Looks like they'll be spending the first day of the year digging out! Don and I fell asleep watching a Cary Grant marathon:
Walk, Don't Run,
The Grass is Greener, and
North by Northwest. The girls were looking forward to the great countdown, but the clock they were using had the wrong time! Don woke up at 10 after midnight to tell them the party was over, but their clock said 11:30. Apparently they didn't register the significance of the neighbors' fireworks and hoopla 10 minutes earlier!
