Note to Self: Let Microsoft Update Run Once In Awhile
I guess it's been a long while. My office IT guy tells me our office network needs upgrades. Since I'm a Balkan state out here, I get to do my own. 3-1/2 hours and 55 (yes, 55) updates later, I think we are back in business. But if you don't hear from me for a few days, fear the worst. I think of these updates like flu shots, they say it'll help avoid the flu but it always seems to be a direct delivery system to ensure I actually get the flu.

Yup. Gotta do it more often. A lot more often! Any, I agree... You'll have some massive issue introduced with updating 55 things at one time. It's like taking 55 multivitamins in one morning to make up for 2 months of slacking... Really, really bad idea.
