Here's my birthday
surprise from Don and Girls. They had worked it all out, I'm not sure when. Don took me to dinner at the only
conveyor belt sushi restaurant in town, then we met up with the girls at Bailey's band performance (picture to come). When we got home, I was banished to the office until further notice. When I was called downstairs, this is what I found. Notice the piece missing? That would be from the royal taste tester. Apparently, he had to make sure the cake was going to be edible. And from the size of the piece, it was either touch and go or a little too tasty.
It was book fair at school this week, so the girls each bought me a book we can read together.
And just like the real chickens, the glass chickens my mom gave me for my birthday were in for the crumbs. In all, it was a fantastic birthday. :)
