Character Is Destiny: Inspiring Stories Every Young Person Should Know and Every Adult Should Remember by John Mccain with Mark Salter. It's a compilation of mini biographies of famous people as demonstrations of various character traits worthy of emulation. I found it at the library. I wasn't intended it as a book to read with the girls until Hannah asked. Now we read through a biography every night during our quiet reading time. So far, we've read through Gandhi and Joan of Arc. The idea of a young girl that lived 400 years ago leading armies into battle was particularly intriguing!
