Junior "Pet Care" Badge & Brownie "Animal" Try-It Badge
Here's all the things the girls did to earn their badges this week:
- Visited the Humane Society
- Built a Cat Condo out of grocery bags (Mighty Puma loves it!)
- Played Animal Charades
- Made Scrap Books of Pet Pictures
- Bailey wrote a story about Mighty Puma
- Fed, Watered and Played with Kitty
- Picked out and read library books about animals (Bailey's Choices: Kitten: a practical guide to caring for your kitten; and How to Talk to Your Cat. Hannah's Choices: I'm Going to be a Vet; and Cat in the Hat)
- How much does it cost? Went to the pet store to find out how much it costs to take care of a cat for a year ($378) plus adoption ($100) plus the equipment ($62).
