Week in Review

Monday
I guess Don finally decided the neighbor wasn't ever going to do anything about the hedge that's been trying to bring down our telephone lines since the ice storm two years ago. Ever since the tooth came out of his head, he's been working on the craziest projects around here. He only got about ¼ of the way through the hedge, but it's a start. Puma was pretty fascinated as the squirrels hide in the hedge. She's waiting to flush some out.

Tuesday
Really Gizmo? I'm not really buying the "I was here first" argument. You may outweigh Puma by ½ pound, but she doesn't seem too scared of you. Ordinarily, they keep to their own chairs, one to each. Seeing the cats cuddle in the same chair is my cue to turn up the heat.

Wednesday
Elvis has left the building. Jennifer sent over this gem. Yikes. So much cool in one place. Hard to imagine.

Thursday
Thursday was CRAZY. The usual Thursday stuff, plus packing for the big Idaho meet, the continuation of Bailey drama, and Hannah's announcement that she needed a presentation board because her Minnesota State Report presentation was due on Monday. Not such a big deal, but since we were leaving first thing Friday morning and not returning until Sunday late, it wasn't the greatest news. She very diligently put the report together and it looks great! You'll have to wait until next week for pictures.

Friday
Enroute to Idaho! We planned to leave at 6, but finally got on the road by 8 am. That's about right! We just carried the girls out still sleeping. Thanks to some lovely team moms, we now have a new doughnut stop on the way to Spokane—Spudnuts in Richland! Fantastic doughnuts made from potato flour. Yum! With the added benefit that they put Bailey to sleep. Wahoo!!
