The big chickens are being mean to the new little chickie. She's become my new buddy. She especially likes to hang out on my shoulder while I walk around the yard doing my projects. She's very well mannered and keeps a lovely little song going the whole time. Those big chickens are going to be sorry when she gets full grown, she's supposed to out weigh them both at full size.
Not long after Don took this picture, the silly little thing pecked me right on the eyeball. Twice. While I prefer to think of it as a love peck, I have still gone around for two days with a sore eyeball!
