The companion side of the being overly dramatic about all things, is being excited about the little things. Ms. Bailey got her spacers today, for the much longed for braces that are coming next week. Really. The kid has been begging for braces for a year now. The molars are finally here and no more reason to wait. She's been positively pleasant all week in expectation. 
Lucky girl! I always wanted braces and never got them... I'm jealous!
