Gymnastics Superstars!!!

I am stealing this from Super Gym Mom's blog because I'm lazy and she took pictures. The girls had way too much fun. The topic of conversation at our house is "What would Nastia Liuken do, say, think, wear....." Personally, I'm a Shawn Johnson girl, but then I still remember Mary Lou Retton.

This was so much fun!!! A group of us went to The Gymnastics Superstars show at the Rose Garden. All of the girls had so much fun and got to see their favorite Olympic Gymnasts all together performing all of their events to music. Because we bought tickets through Hannah's gym, we were able to go early and to a Q&A with the gymnasts. Passes were handed out for after the show, but alas no one we know of was lucky enough to get one. Regardless, the VEGA girls had a blast and so did the parents. Shawn Johnson, Nastia Liuken and all of the rest of the US team was fabulous, but let me tell you...men's gymnastics is completely underated!!! Those guys were amazing to watch. A fun time was had by all.

    Okay, I had to highlight the text to I could read it in another color. The green is hard on these aging eyes!
    You'll be quite jealous to know that Mary Lou Retton is coming to town here... Aren't we fortunate?

    Super Gym Mom I am not, but glad I could contribute. Picture CD's coming soon. I still think we should have gotten passes cause the girls were so cute!!!
