It's pouring rain here, over an inch in the last 24 hours. This after last week's heat wave. To give you an idea of the severity of last week's weather, it was so hot in my office that the chocolate chips I hide in my desk bloomed. I have a bag of funny colored chips now. Not a bad way to go--they still taste good but look funny to the kiddos who now won't touch them. I guess the heat did me a favor.
