Big Blue is a 5 month old Birchen Maran. We found her on craigslist. She joined our coop today. So far, the rest of the chickens are not being all that welcoming. She seems smart enough, for a chicken, but she does tend to wander off on her own. It'll be a few weeks before she lays, but when she does the egg'll be chocolate brown. We are very excited.

Meet Big Blue!
