Crash!

Day three of summer vacation, and our first serious clash with the laws of physics. Hannah and her bike had a serious wipeout. We're calling it the six bandaid wipeout--foot, both knees, elbow and hip. Good thing for the helmet, because from the looks of the wound pattern and the amout of gravel in them, her face was next. I've been telling the girls that school is where you learn to follow directions, summer is where you learn to be independent and self directed. And apparently, where you learn just how hard asphalt can be.
