Ribbon Cutting at the Camas Farmers Market May 17th

It's getting so close! I'm only saying that because there's still so much to be done. I've been volunteering with the Camas Farmer's Market Launch campaign. It's been a great way to meet lots of really fantastic people in Camas, plus I'm so incredibly excited to have a farmer's market here. If I wasn't helping, I'd say it was still too far away. 5 weeks is a long time to wait for a head of lettuce. But with incorporation papers still to file, vendors to confirm, volunteers to coordinate, equipment to procure, the committee will need every bit of those 5 weeks. In the meantime, enough farmers have committed to attend that, ready or not, 9am May 17th we'll be there (6:30 if you want to help set up canopies!).
