Girls' Birthday Cake for their Mom

With everything going on last week, we still found time for the girls to fit in a surprise cake decorating session. They spent the evening and had dinner with their mom on her birthday, then surprised her with a cake (complete with all the candles, when you are 8 and 10 all the years matter them so all the years should matter to the grownups too). The decoration was even a cooperative venture. (I baked a sheet cake instead of a layer cake just in case each needed their own half to decorate.)
