Now we are ready for the competition season...

The thought of spending the next 8 weekends driving the girls over hill and dale to gymnastics meets, not to mention making the roundtrip tour to Minnesota this summer, in the Prius was making me twitch. The Prius was a lovely gas saver, and could fit an amazing amount of stuff, but that back seat is just too close to the front seat for long term driving comfort. So we finally did it. After 3 years, four accidents, 115,000 miles, three car dealerships and 4 hours with our new best friend Brian, we said goodbye to Rosy and her salsa red pearl flirtyness. We are now the proud owners of Zeus, a 2004 gold Honda Odyssy XE L mini van with a mere 52,000 miles on it. 52,000 in 4 years? Why even own a car? It wasn't dark blue like I wanted, but it does have leather interior (and with a family of snackers, leather interior is a must!). Don says he wants a dog now, an irish setter. I don't think it's big enough for that!
