Tonight is the last Wednesday of music in the park here in Camas (and the last chance for a vegetable clearing picnic!). After yesterday's run in with the Greek Orthodox nuns, tonight's menu is Greek inspired:
Chicken Pita Sandwiches (with lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers)
Kohlrabi Slaw (staring kohlrabi, apples & carrots)
Babaganush (staring eggplant)
Tatziki (staring cucumbers)
Hummus (from Safeway, I do have to get SOME work done today)
with Figs for dessert.
The band tonight is TapWater (Zydeco, Folk, Bluegrass). Picnic's at 6:30, come join us!
Impressive. Nothing I would eat, but impressive nonetheless!
