Seattle Week

This is a Seattle week, for me at least.  With an active listing, a listing on its way, a soon to be empty apartment to rent, and a porch full of projects to clear out, Don stayed in Camas this week with work to do.  A few days in Seattle alone is almost like a vacation!  It's quiet, no chores to, no need to figure out what's for dinner.  I get to stay up as late as I want reading my book (I brought three with me, just in case!), get up when I'm ready, walk to and from work (spring's arrived in Seattle this week, lots of beautiful plants in bloom!), eat breakfast and dinner from Whole Foods (if chocolate pudding eaten at 8pm qualifies as dinner).  Of course, I also revert to old habits of working until dark (nautical twilight ends at 8:11 pm today) and sleeping late.  By week's end, I'll be done with it.  But by then, I should be rested and centered enough for another few rounds of the debacle!
