Camas. The latest addition to the ongoing debacle arrived last night, CHICKENS! Chicks really. Meet Chickie and ChickieChickie. Right now, they look like black puff balls with legs and beaks. The chicken hutch is still a figment of Don's imagination so they are living in a blue rubbermaid container on the back porch. Looks more BHB around here each and every day! Chickie is the hen on my shoulder (on the left above). She's a Black something or other. She's already planning her escape. ChickieChickie is the huddle in my hand. She's a Rock Baird. She's a cuddler. Mostly, the peep and sleep. Puma has been introduced to them but hasn't really gotten too much of a look see.
