Spokane. Mighty Puma loves her visits to Spokane. Despite their protests to the contrary both Mom and Paul (but especially Paul) love the Mighty Puma. Paul plays mouse games with her for hours. Mom invites her to share nap time. But Mighty Puma's favorite part is the bird feeder. Paul has been fattening up a flock of sparrows for years. Mighty Puma thinks this is Paul's gift to her and that she needs to catch one. While the rest of us were enjoying Christmas morning breakfast, Mighty Puma tried her first, not so hidden attempt at stalking the flock. They, of course, knew she was there the entire time. The closer she got, the higher they climbed. Maybe she'll have better luck in the summer when there are leaves for cover.
